The Ultimate Off Road Family Experience is perfect for you all to get together. Anyone aged from 4 years upwards can enjoy a muddy adventure.
For anyone aged 11 years plus will drive our 4×4 Off-road vehicle to take on the challenges of our purpose built track with hills, rivers, ruts and yes lots of Mud!
Our electric Little Learner vehicles are suitable for any children from 4 up to 10 years of age. They will be able to test their driving skills as they tackle our tailor made off road course including muddy puddles. So they are not on their own an adult can accompany them on this ride.

You will all particpate in an Off Road activity which can be selected from the following:

You will drive our 4×4 off-roader around its purpose built track for 30 minutes each (age 11+ years)
Or

Drive your first Little Learners on our tailor-made off road course for 15 minutes each (ages 4-10 years)

You also have the option to view or purchase professional photographs taken whilst you have been driving.

Please collect a certificate to commemorate your driving experience from our media desk.

Please note: When an adult is driving there must be an additional adult to supervise any juniors

Minimum age	The minimum age to participate in a driving experience is 17 years old (individuals under the age of 18 need parental/guardian consent)
Minimum height	The minimum height to participate in a driving experience is 4ft 10in.
Maximum height	The maximum height to participate in a driving experience is 6ft 4in. (Please contact us to discuss your options regarding this)
Maximum weight	The maximum weight to participate in a driving experience is 20 stone. (Please contact us to discuss your options regarding this)
Driving licence	All participants must hold a full valid driving licence and must have this present with them on the day the event is taking place. (International licences are accepted)
Communication	All participants must have a good basic understanding of the English language and must be able to understand basic hand manoeuvres.
Clothing	Appropriate clothing and footwear must be worn at all times during the event.
Health	Participants must be in good health and must wear glasses if required.
Drinking	Individuals who are under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to participate. The Event Managers decision is final.
Vouchers	Vouchers hold a 12-month validity period unless otherwise stated.
Expiration date	Experiences must be booked and taken before the expiry date of the voucher.
Book ahead	We ask that you book a minimum of 8 weeks in advance so we can give the best availability of venues and vehicles.
Cancellation	Cancellation cover can be purchased separately, this covers you in the instance of death in the immediate family, breakdown on the way to an event or illness on the day.
Availability	All experiences are subject to availability with regards to vehicles, dates and venues.
Weather	We still operate during adverse weather; however we hold the right to cancel an experience if the weather is too severe.
Spectators	Spectators are welcome at all our venues.
Under 16s	Individuals under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Our dates	Most experiences are available February to November.
Indemnity waiver	When attending an experience with ourselves you are fully insured to drive our cars, however you may be liable for the excess payment if any claim needs to be made due to damage to the vehicles. It is advised that participants purchase an indemnity waiver that is offered to them at the time of booking and on the day.

Kendrew Barracks, formerly known as RAF Cottesmore, has a rich history dating back to 1938 when it first became an operational Royal Air Force base. Its expansive runway played a significant role in aviation history, hosting the final flight of the iconic Harrier Jump Jet. Between 1943 and 1945, it also served as a base for the United States Air Force.

The was named in honour of Major General Sir Douglas Kendrew, a former pupil at Uppingham School who served in the Royal Leicestershire Regiment. Major General Kendrew was one of only 11 officers in the Army to be awarded the Distinguished Service Order, known as the DSO, four times. The order is awarded for highly successful command and leadership during active operations.

Following its formal closing ceremony in 2012, Kendrew Barracks transitioned to its current role as a satellite facility for RAF Wittering, located in Peterborough. Today, it is home to the British Army’s East of England Multi-Role Brigade.

With it’s very long runway Kendrew Barracks is one of our most coveted venues to drive in the UK.
