A unique opportunity to get behind the wheel and experience a drive of our double decker bus.
Your drive will begin with an in depth briefing in the cab by your instructor as he helps you get to grips with the oversized vehicle before you start your 15 minute drive. Your instructor will give you expert tuition throughout your drive as you attempt to coax the bus around slaloms, as well as the various tight and technical sections of the course. You will also be able to have a couple of attempts at reverse manoeuvres in a bid to try and perfect your parking.

Once you have completed your drive, you will then receive a certificate of completion, with the option to purchase photographs of your Bus Driving experience as you reflect on a truly memorable day.

Min AgeThe minimum age to participate in a driving experience is 10 years old. (Individuals under the age of 18 need parental/guardian consent to participate)
Min HeightThe minimum height to participate in a driving experience is 4ft 10in.
Max HeightThe maximum height to participate in a driving experience is 6ft 4in. (Please contact us to discuss your options regarding this)
Max WeightThe maximum weight to participate in a driving experience is 20 stone. (Please contact us to discuss your options regarding this)
Driving LicenceAll participants over 17 years must hold a full valid driving licence and must have this present with them on the day the event is taking place. (International licences accepted)
CommunicationAll participants must have a good basic understanding of the English language and must be able to understand basic hand manoeuvres.
ClothingAppropriate clothing and footwear must be worn at all times during the event.
HealthParticipants must be in good health and must wear glasses if required.
DrinkingIndividuals who are under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to participate.
VouchersVouchers hold a 12-month validity period, unless otherwise stated.
Expiration DateExperiences must be booked and taken before the expiry date of the voucher.
Book AheadWe do ask that you book a minimum of 8 weeks in advance.
Cancellation CoverCancellation cover can be purchased separately, this covers you in the instance of death in the immediate family, breakdown on the way to an event or illness on the day.
AvailabilityAll experiences are subject to availability with regards to cars, date and venue.
WeatherWe still operate during adverse weather; however we hold the right to cancel an experience if the weather is too severe.
SpectatorsSpectators are welcome at all our venues.
Under SixteensIndividuals under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Our DatesMost experiences are available February to November.
Indemnity WaiverWhen attending an experience with ourselves you are fully insured to drive our cars however you may be liable for the excess payment if any claim needs to be made due to damage on the vehicles. It is advised that participants purchase a waiver indemnity that is offered to them at the time of booking and on the day.

      The Dennis DS series, produced by Dennis Specialist Vehicles from 1979 to the early 1990s, was a compact fire engine featuring a tilting cab. It closely resembled the Dennis RS/SS series in terms of both appearance and mechanics, but had a shorter wheelbase. This design was specifically targeted towards fire brigades operating in narrow rural areas where larger fire engines would be impractical.

      Several fire brigades utilized the Dennis DS, including Devon, Cheshire, Hertfordshire, Durham County, and the Dublin Fire Brigade.                   i’ve never driven a vehicle this big before but i had so much fun doing it. the instructor was really friendly and informative. he’d set out a good course to drive round too
